As part of the strategy, web design, and digital marketing team, I led the ecommerce, merchandising, point of sale, and on-the-ground marketing for the Stranger Things 4 events at both the Empire State Building in New York City and LA Live in Los Angeles.
In New York, we created a spectacular light show that was projected onto the Empire State Building, accompanied by a fully synched soundtrack. The light show looped for 2 hours and was viewed by 5000 New Yorkers and 100 million people across social streams. The event was a collaboration with Giant Spoon, the Netflix VX team, and the Duffer brothers, who created the series.
In Los Angeles, we created an immersive Stranger Things experience at LA Live, featuring an 80’s-themed mixtape medley with food and drinks, special merchandise, and photo ops. The event also featured a dangerous, radioactive rift, known as “The Mothergate” and “The Gate”, that was part of the Netflix and Xbox Stranger Things 4 Los Angeles Rift Experience at Xbox Plaza.
